For my project I decided to be bold and do something I have paradoxically always wanted to do and never wanted to do — I created my own domain!
I wanted to do something unique and something that allowed me to express all of the progress I’ve made with learning more about digital studies. I reasoned that with all that I’ve learned in this class and with the digital footprint I had already been forming for myself through my classes and social media, I was ready to create my own domain.
I learned a lot about what it took to build my website, and what I could do to both protect myself and others visiting my website while building it. It felt good to be able to know that I could do both and achieve the small goal of sharing pieces of me with others.
